There are 13 establishments of general education with the staff of 305 teachers. Among them is a secondary school, four secondary school-kindergartens, six basic school-kindergartens, a primary school-kindergarten and a primary school. The educational system engages also an out-of-school centre, children’s sport school and a social shelter.

In the 2006/2007 academic year 33% of school leaver got enrolled into the establishments of higher learning, 42% - vocational colleges.
